Copywriting services for graphic designers and marketing agencies

If you are a graphic design or marketing agency you know that many of your clients are not good writers. They probably lack the confidence or skill required to create lively and accurate copy, or they simply can't make the time to do it. All too often, this means that the words are not as good as your design or campaign strategy.

You probably don't necessarily want to get involved in the editorial side of your projects. Most design and marketing agencies can't justify the cost of maintaining in-house copywriters. In any case, you probably want to concentrate on your core design and marketing services.

So I am here to fill the gap. I am on call to write or edit leaflets, brochures, advertising, web sites and anything else in English.

Over 50% of the projects I work on are arranged through graphic and marketing agencies. So I understand what you are looking for:

1. You hate making lots of post-design text changes. So whether I write new copy or edit client-supplied content, I aim to make sure that the words in your first proof will be on the mark. Fewer post-design changes save you time and money.

2. You might have missed out on work by having a gap in your service menu. So by adding copywriting and offering a complete briefing-to-delivery service you can pick up work that may have passed you by in the past.

3. You need to provide accurate quotes for your clients. So I tell you what my fee will be and then stick to it, unless the briefing changes significantly. And I keep going until your client is happy, even if it takes longer than first anticipated.

You can now offer your clients professional copywriting, which many of them will see as a welcome step. Add it to your service menu and you might find it helps you get more work.

PS: We're happy being invisible

If you want to, you can retain all client contact without mentioning that you are using an external copywriter, letting you present writing as your own in-house service. Tell me what arrangement you prefer at the outset and I will respect your decision at all times.
